Viewmail and Windows XP - won't play over IP phone

Informational only:

Client has current Viewmail client on Windows XP desktop. When the user attempted to listen to messages via PC speakers all was fine, however, when attempting to listen via the IP phone, the phone would ring and there would be silence. The message would not play.

The problem was resolved by going to Network Connections, right clicking on the local area connection, and chosing properties and clicking the Advanced Tab. Ensure that the Internet Connection Firewall is turned off.
