viewmail

some users can not hear message on PC.. different users have different pc's and different sound cards.. they can hear cds play and other sounds but not message. any ideas<br><br>

Have you installed VMO on all these systems or are you just trying to play the attached WAV files directly?

If you're using a codec such as G729a or one of the ADPCM formats you'll have trouble with this since Windows does not support them "out of the box", you need to install a codec (which VMO does for you).

If you have, what error are you getting when you try to play the message? What version are you at?

Ok... so I assume by that answer that you aren't using VMO on these clients?

What error are you getting? Does it attempt to load the WAV file and tell you that there's no codec to play it or what?

Can you try installing VMO on one of these boxes just to see if it resolves the problem?
