Vmail from outside not recieved

Voicemail left from someone outside the network is not saved after the message is left. I stopped the service and restarted it and had the same prob. I rebooted the server and I still have the same problem. Any ideas? Also does anyone no the reason why the server takes so long to come up? It stays on preparing network connections for like 5 min. Thanks. <br><br>

Can you check the \Commserver\UnityMTA directory and see if there are a bunch of messages backed up in there?

If you have messages in the UnityMTA directory, these are outside caller messages waiting to be passed off to the Exchange server. The event log should have errors in there indicating failed delivery attempts... either the Exchange server we're hooked up to is not happy, the account we're attempting to deliver messages with doesn't have rights or you have a "bad" message in the queue blocking other messages behind it...
