You'll find the setup for VMO under the \ViewMail directory off the root of CD #1 of your install set (or download files if you got it off CCO).

I can install Viewmail on our machines that are running Outlook 97 but all the Outlook 2000 machines give the following error: CDO is not installed on this machine.
What is the reason and fix for this error?

CDO is the Colloboration Data Objects in Microsoft.

What is the OS, IE versions installed on the machines that you are installing VMO for Outlook 2000 on?

OS - NT4.0
IE - 5.5

It is installed as part of the Outlook 2000 install. It is one of the options to select.
You will need to go to the ControlPanel-Add/Remove Programs.
Select Outlook 2K. Select Add/Remove. In the componets selest CDO and install it.
