We are trying to use VMO to play messages on the phone but
the Media Master can not authenticate to the Unity Server.
Users do not login to the Unity domain except for Exchange access. Re: VMO telephone playback errors

The domain that the user logs in to the Windows machine with will need to have a bi-directional trust with the Unity domain. This is because VMO uses Microsoft DCOM. There is no way around this.

Re: VMO telephone playback errors

The problem is the users do not login to a domain at all.
They only login to their workstations.
They use a Novell network for File and Print and the domain is only for Exchange.

Is the any hope of a non-DCOM version in the future or a way to force a username on to DCOM ?
