Can ViewMail for Outlook perform message playback to a PBX phone in a non-CallManager integration? Are there any limitations to the playback/record controls when Unity is integrated with a PBX via dialogic voice cards?

Yes ViewMail for Outlook (VMO) can playback to a PBX phone. There are no limitations. In fact, playback and record via the phone, also known as Telephone Record and Playback (TRAP) was implemented long before Unity had an IP integration with Call Manager.
