I have 2 MGCP voice gateway (3745 router) that registered to my CallManager v4.1.3 in my office. Incoming/outgoing call will always go through the primary gateway. When primary gateway fails, incoming/outgoing call will go through secondary gateway. Recently when the PSTN that connected to primary gateway fails, secondary gateway never take over the outgoing call function thus results in outage. May I know is there anyway to configure such that when PSTN on primary gateway fail, the outgoing call will swing to secondary gateway just like HSRP tracking?
You can add multiple members to your Route Group. The list is ordered by highest priority, so the 1st member will be tried first, then the second, etc. Make the port(s) on the first gateway the first member(s) and then the port(s) on the second gateway.
