Hi,
I have a couple of c2600 routers, VoIP IOS, Call manager software and Cisco ip phone software, my question: can i make calls between 2 PC equipped with PC-based ip phones ?

Yes you can.
Download IPCommunicator, IPBlue. If you have two PC's you can have up to 4 phones. If you have a real IP phone or an analog port on a VG248, you can control that port using Cisco IP Softphone. This will give you control over the IP phone or analog port (to dial out, receive calls etc) remotely from the PC. This gives you a total of 5 soft phones.

Yes you can. This can be accomplished with IP Communicator. Please see the admin guide below. You didn't mention switches, but you will need a switch to connect the routers, servers, phones, and PCs. In the case of 2 IP Communicators talking on the same LAN, the routers would not be in the picture.

Do you have call manager running on a server? You would
have to use ip communicator on your pc.
