voice problems with nat

we are a very small network here with only one real ip and 10 local inside ip's

and we are using pat to map the group of local inside ips to one global ip but there are lot of problems occuring will using voice applications such as net2phone or so ...

why exactly is the problem occuring and what can i do on my 1600 router to prevent this while maintain using only one real ip

i ll appreciate an in depth answer

I will recomand you of using deltathree's soft client whihc supports both NAT enviorment, SIP and can provide you inbound calls by assigning DID number.

The problem is that the H323 protocol used by the VOIP application embeds ip addresses beyond the TCP headers. The NAT/PAT does a translation of the IP header addresses, but fails to convert these embedded addresses to the external address. Have a look at the following URL for more information and a possible solution by upgrading to IOS version 12.1.5T or later.
