Voicemail cuts off after about 5 seconds

I have a site that if someone calls from outside and tries to leave a voicemail it get cut off after about 5 seconds and the person calling does not know this has happened. If I call them from another one of our offices from a VoIP phone it works fine.

Ideas?

Thanks,

Mike

Mike,

I'm assuming your voicemail is Unity. Is it integrated with Callmanager or some other system? Take a look at the following link for some troubleshooting tips for this problem.

Re: Voicemail cuts off after about 5 seconds

Thanks that did help. It was the time setting and a routing issues as well.

Thank you,

Is the first 5 seconds actually being recorded?

Yes it was. It turned out to be a timing and routing issue.

Thanks,
