Voicemail design question

I have Callmanager and Voicemail in central site and remote sites have SRST enabled routers. Now if I loose the primary WAN between central site and remote sites, I loose Voicemail for all remote site until the WAN outage gets resolved. Can any one suggest better design practice to preserve the voicemail access during WAN out age ?

Re: Voicemail design question

Hey Ravi, if you have the local connection to the router, I have actually programmed the router to dial the full E.164 number in Call Manager Fallback:

voicemail 917708292222

Re: Voicemail design question

Hi,

That means I need to have PSTN connection on the SRST router and at the central site I need to have a DID number for the Voicemail Pilot? Thanks any ways.

Re: Voicemail design question

You are correct you will need PSTN trunks at both locations in order to re-route the calls, or at least another site where the call can be rerouted to, but you still need the GW at this remote site.
