Voicemail Playback

When trying to playback voicemail from Outlook using the phone (Cisco 7960) as the playback device, I get the following error: "Unknown problems are preventing the completion of the call."<br><br>

I assume you're trying to use TRAP (telephone record and playback) here?

Make sure you have the proper machine name/IP address configured to point at the Unity server. Also, make sure you can ping the Unity server from the work station in question using that IP address/Name.

If you're coming across domains this can be an issue if there's not bidirectional trusts between them.

Make sure you have ports available to do outdials for TRAP (on the ports configuration screen in the SA). You should get a specific error saying no ports are available in newer versions of Unity but I'm not sure what version you're running at.

Also, make sure the phone number you entered into your VMO setup can be dialed from the uOne lines Unity is set up to use.
