hi
i have a two sites, which i have to connect for voice and data connectivity.
i have fxs interfaces on both sides.
how do i configure both routers for voice can anybody provide sample.
and how do i assign the phone numbers of the two phone lines.
and as far as i know we cannot connect more than two phones on one fxs so what should i do if i have to connect 3 phones on one side .do i have to go in for a fxo?
all help would be highly appreciated
thanx in advance

Hello Pravash,
The config is simple, lets draw a diagram for simplicity.
Ph----FXS(Router1)---------WAN---------(Router2)FXS-----ph
111 -------------------------------------------------------------------- 221
112 -------------------------------------------------------------------- 222
[ Dont worry about -------- its just to fill the space ;) ]
Router1
dial-peer voice 111 POTS
destination-pattern 111
port (depends on router)
!
dial-peer voice 112 POTS
destination-pattern 112
port (depends on router)
!
dial-peer voice 22 voip
destination-pattern 22.
session target ipv4:192.168.1.2
!
Router2
dial-peer voice 221 POTS
destination-pattern 221
port (depends on router)
!
dial-peer voice 222 POTS
destination-pattern 222
port (depends on router)
!
dial-peer voice 11 voip
destination-pattern 11.
session target ipv4:192.168.1.1
!
Sites can also call each other locally. For 3rd phone you have to connect another FXS port. FXO port can be connected to PBX and then you have to dial the particular extension to get the line.

Hi,
You can use two fxs cards that means you will have 4 ports and assuming you are having voip between the sites..please refer to these documents..
