VoIP service Apps Windows 2000 platform only ?

I am in the very beginning stages of designing a VoIP/VoFR solution for an off-shore call center and I have found that most of the service Apps like CallManager CTI Manager and IP contact Center only seem to run the the Windows 2000 platform. I have found cisco to develop in Windows and also Solaris. Is this not the case anymore ?

I think Cisco does have some solaris based VoIP applications like SIP servers and PGW2200. Maybe someone else here has specifics
