VOIP SYSTEM REQUIREMENT

I have a office in Germany (HQ) and office in India.

In both the offices 3 pesons are working.

I need to cummunicate within these offices and both the offices can dail & receive local call of other ends.

I mean a employees of German office can call any phone in India and receive calls from India.

And vice-versa for employees of India.

What do I need at both ends to make this work?

What hardware? Software? Phones?

Re: VOIP SYSTEM REQUIREMENT

Have you already any routers in your offices?

If have not, for small 3 person office you need 1760-V voice-enabled router (software included) with VIC-4FXS/DID and WIC-1T (for WAN) modules in EACH office. You can use common analog phones.

You want to connect offices through the Internet? Its not good solution, because of voice quality may be bad. Ask your provider about Frame Relay (for example) channels.

If you plan to increase quantity of employees at office you can simple buy CCME (CallManager Express)license for router, buy Cisco IP Phones, Catalyst switch (2950 for example) and setup IP Telephony in your office, up to 24 phones.

Re: VOIP SYSTEM REQUIREMENT

If I use a multflex T1 card inside an existing 2600, would that be enough performance? The router is just doing some basic routing and NAT.
