W2k Backup utility

I would like to know whether or not W2K backup utility is a supported backup solution for Unity VM system at this time. Client has an existing backup solution. However, his version is discontinued and the Exchange agent is not available(the vendor won't sell agents for discontinued products). Client has no intention to upgrade in the foreseeable future.

Also like to know whether or not Cisco had a chance to test out the backup/restore using W2K's backup utility?

Systems Engineer

Re: W2k Backup utility

The only backup utility that's been tested end to end (and documented) at this point is the BackupExec package. There's a few more packages on the plate to test during the 3.0 project, including the built in MS backup utility. I'm not sure what the time frame for that is, however.
