With one of my applications, after an "openline" query, I intermittantly do not receive the necessary "in-service" message. The application waits for the message, but sometimes it never comes. Occaisinoally, it never comes because the phone is actually off the network. Sometimes the phone is on the network and we never receive the in-service message. Is there another mechanism to check to make sure a line is in use or not before the application places a call?
