Want to disable automatic video mode on 8945 ip phones

Hello,

I'm running on CUCM 8.5.1, CUPS 8.6.3, and using CUPC 8.5.5 with deskphone control of 8945 model, fw 9.2.2

When I call another 8945 phone, video is automatically started. We have no choice to do a simple audio call, escalating to video only if desired.

We can set the video transmission to "Mute" in the 8945 phoneset Menu -> Preferences -> Camera settings. Then at the beginning of the call, both parties have a mute video screen.

On the CUPC in deskphone mode, we only have the "Start Call" choice. "Start Video Call" is not available, because the Start Call choice is already considered as a video call choice, due to the 8945 ip phone behaviour...

Do you know if it's a design intent or if there's something in the roadmap to change this ?
