WAV file paste problem in Unity 4.0x

There was another thread from July 2002 about this problem but it didn't help me out. I have saved WAV files in the CCITT u-Law format from Sound Recorder on a W2K box. When I try to paste in Unity from this file, I get an "Unable to paste the audio." I have tried the file at 8kHz and at 22.050kHz. I'm thinking something is not configured on the Unity box. Suggestions?

Are you doing it phsyically on the Unity server? I know in version 3.1(4) you can't use terminal services.

Thanks Geoff, guess that is a problem with 4.0.3 as well.
