try the following URL.. they even host the service, all you need to do is point your call manager to the address listed. This should explain it all

I tried this site and couldn't get the services to work? Any suggestions?
My CM has internet access as well. I am running CM 3.2(2)

Don't use your CM as the machine that accesses the Internet. Use a different W2K server (print server...). You want the different server to use its resources NOT Call Manager. Verify Internet connectivity with the server and make sure you are running the xml proxy on the W2K server. Make sure you put in the "local IP address" of the server in the xlm app and verify the authentication if you going through a proxy server. Finally, check the log for the xml app.
P.S...The first time I tried it it didn't work, then I deleted the service from CM and added it again and it worked fine (must have typed it incorrectly).

The Cisco IP Phone SDK has some examples including a stock quote application.
The SDK can be downloaded from the Cisco website:
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/570/avvid/
A great resource for creating these services is "Developing Cisco IP Phone Services: A Cisco AVVID Solution" by Cisco Press. You can find and preview this book on O'Reilly's Network Safari (http://safari.oreilly.com/). Safari offers a free 14-day trial, so you can get the full content of the book at no cost and get started right away.
I believe that the IP Phone Services SDK may be included in the book as well, but I'm not certain.
