When you press the "i" button twice on the 7960, you get a "Call Statistics" screen. Most parameters on the screen are self-explanatory but the "RxDisc" parameter is not so obvious. What would cause this number to increment?
I'm not exactly sure what it stands for....possibly Packets received/discarded. But I have seen this before and the only time I've seen this counter increment is when I've had a codec mismatch on a call. Check your voip dial-peer statements (if you're using them) and verify you have "codec G711u". For grins and kicks, I'd also check the speed/duplex setting to make sure you're at 100/Full. If the switch is hardcoded to a speed/duplex, there WILL be a mismatch!
