Support of IOS IP Telephony service is available starting from 12.2(11)YT on these routers 1751-V1,751,1760,2600,2691,3640,3660,3725,3745

Be very careful with this - these requirements have changed with every release of IOS IPT that they have released. And unfortunately, they have isolated the number of usable routers, for instance there is NO support for 2600. Just 2600-XM routers. Here are the actual requirements from IOS IPT 2.1 on 12.2(15)T:

Cisco 1751, Cisco 1760, Cisco 2600-XM, Cisco 2650, Cisco 2650-XM, Cisco 2651, Cisco 2691, Cisco 3640, Cisco 3640A, Cisco 3660, Cisco 3725, Cisco 3745

It seems silly that they removed 2600 support, as there a ton of them in production and it would add a lot of value to customers that have already deployed them in their enterprise. You could always run an older version, but you won't get any of the new feature or stability upgrades. Hopefully, they widen support for IOS IPT with 3.0 in June/July. (and add support for 7905s too)
