Where to place a Call Manager and Unity Server

Does the Call Manager and Unity servers usually get placed in the voice vlan, the general server vlan with the Exchange server or a dedicated vlan for the voice servers? Does anyone know of a best practice document?

The best practice is to place them in their own VLAN, call it somthing like voice server vlan. I don't remember if it's discussed in the SRND but take a look at www.cisco.com/go/srnd
