Which PVDM to use with 1760 and 4x VIC-2BRI

The data sheet of 1760 says that I need one PVDM-256K-16 to enable 2x VIC-2BRI. So to enable 4 i would need two PVDM-256K-16's. But after reading the doc about the C549 DSP it seems like I can use only one PVDM-16 with 4x VIC-2BRI and only voice codecs have to be medium complexity. Am I thinking right ??

Re: Which PVDM to use with 1760 and 4x VIC-2BRI

The data sheet indicates http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/cc/pd/rt/1700/prodlit/1760e_ds.htm

...that the PVDM-256K-16 contains four DSPs...which supports up to 4 analog VICs or up to 2 ISDN BRI VICs. The bottom line is how many voice ports are supported per DSP. From the Data Sheet..."At a minimum, one DSP is required for each analog voice interface card, and two DSPs are required for each ISDN BRI voice interface card" (one DSP per voice port). So since the PVDM-16 has four DSPs, you can configure two BRI interface cards or four BRI ports.
