why not using LLQ on LAN access switch ?

Hi !

I'm currently studying for my CCNP ONT Exam.

In documentation I read the author say the Auto QoS feature enable LLQ in core and distribution switchs as a queing method and WRR (Weight Round-Robin) or PQ (Priority Queuing) in LAN access switch. I known Auto QoS feature follow Cisco recommandation about QoS implementation, but I would like understanding why Cisco does'nt recommand LLQ also in LAN access switches rather than WRR or PQ ?

I did not find anything says LLQ can be use CoS marking to know in which queue trafic should assign, but I did not find anymore about WRR and PQ about CoS marking for classification of the network trafic.

someone can help me ?

Re: why not using LLQ on LAN access switch ?

LLQ is not supported on switches because switches use different QoS architecture.
