Windows Updates to CallManager server

Windows 2000 Server with SP4. Need to apply some security patches, but worried about how it will affect CallManager. Should I be concerned? Are there any known issues regarding Windows security updates and different releases of CallManager?

Thanks.

Re: Windows Updates to CallManager server

Do not install the security updates directly from Microsoft. Cisco has a process for approving service packs, hotfixes, etc. as they are released to ensure Callmanager compatibility. Go to the following link and find your version of Callmanager. Click "Cisco IP Telephony Operating System, SQL Server, Security Updates" where you can find the latest supported updates for Windows, SQL, etc. Go back to the previous page and click "Download Operating System, BIOS Updates and CallManager Cryptographic Software." This is where you can download the latest OS upgrades, OS service releases, hotfixes, SQL service packs, etc.
