Wrong DN when going off hook

Hi,

Has anybody seen an issue where you have a phone with multiple lines and intermittenly when you go off hook it does not use the first line, instead it will pick one of the other lines.

I am seeing this with 7960's with 7914's attached. Running phone load 214 and callmanager 3.2(2c) SP-F.

Thanks

Frank Marotta

Re: Wrong DN when going off hook

It seems like you have configured Call Pickup and Group Pickup Features on the CCM. Hence, the problem. If that is not the case, then,

you could be observing a new bug in CCM 3.2(2c). You could check out if any such bugs where found earlier in the

BugTool Kit

Yeah they are configured but what does that have to do with anything?

Re: Wrong DN when going off hook

Hi,

I'm not sure that's what causing your problem but my first thought is you associate this phone or device profile with a user and when you choose the lines in the device associating page the "primary extension" radio button is checked for the second line..Is it the case?

No, this is not the case. I also set the "Always use Primary Line" service parameter set to true.
