WS-X6608-x1 supports for G723 and G729?

Hi,

According to doc, the T1/E1 VoIP blade "WS-X6608-x1" used in Catalyst 6k only supports G711. To support G723 or G729, transcoding can be used. Does this mean, in order to use G723/G729, only up to 4 ports can be used because the other 4 ports needs to be configured for transcoding service?

The blade can terminate G.729/G.723 streams without having to utilize a transcoder port.
