Hello
I am trying to add a vlan to a vpc peer-link via the config-sync but I receive the following error "Following commands failed command length checks:" which I can not found in the Cisco documentation.
Does anybody know is there a limitation for the lengh of the "switchport trunk allowed vlan add" comand ? If yes, what the limit is ?
Regards
Lucas

Correct, I was wrong when I stated this was a bug, but is more of a limitation. Yes anything more than 256 would need to be configured inside of 'conf t'

It seems you are hitting CSCtk53795.
Config-sync fails to check if the command length exceeds 256 bytes | |
Symptom: Commands longer than 256 characters are not supported in a switch-profile.Condition: Always.Workaround: None. These commands cannot be synchronized and should be configured in "config term" mode. |

Hello
Thank you for your answer.
The strange thing is that this bug has a status Terminated, without the information in which release the bug is fixed.
As I understand this is not a bug but more a limitation.
So If I need more than 256 characters input, I should not use the config-sync which the recommended method of configuring the pair of Nexus 5k with vCP.
Do I understand it correctly?
