Blade Center Switch Virtual interface protocol down status
I do have a couple of Blade Center Switches with the following device info:
BIOS: version 1.0.37
loader: version N/A
kickstart: version 4.1(2)E1(1h)
system: version 4.1(2)E1(1h)
cisco Nexus 4000 Chassis ("20x10GE/supervisor")
I also have an interface VLAN configured for management purposes. The problem is that this virtual interface sometimes goes into a down state (Interface Status protocol-down/link-down/admin-up)
A way to solve this is by rebooting the whole Blade Centers Management module. Which rather seems strange since a switche's virtual interface would need to be completely independent of the entire IBM Blade Center.
