Nexus 5000 rebooted after receiving %VSHD-5-VSHD_SYSLOG_CONFIG_I: Configured from vty by on ppm.3523

Hi,

We have two Nexus 5000 in HA configuration that use a switch port profile to share configuration changes.

Earlier this morning the secondary switch rebooted (this has happened before).

Just prior to the reboot the syslog server received the following command.

Dec 18 07:08:32 10.91.254.62 : 2013 Dec 18 07:08:32 AEST: %ASCII-CFG-6-INFORMATION: Reading ACFG Runtime information

Dec 18 07:08:33 10.91.254.62 : 2013 Dec 18 07:08:33 AEST: %VSHD-5-VSHD_SYSLOG_CONFIG_I: Configured from vty by  on ppm.3523

Dec 18 07:08:33 10.91.254.62 : 2013 Dec 18 07:08:33 AEST: %ASCII-CFG-6-INFORMATION: Reading ACFG Runtime information

Any help with diagnosing this issue will be appreciated

Hello,

In case a unexpected reboot with a kernel panic reason I recommend to you to open a case with Cisco TAC team.

Probably is related a bug CSCua53582.
