Just setting up labs to support nexus deployments. Got 2 x 7k, 1 x 5k and 2 x 2k. 5K is well specd and ordered 2 x 8 port 10ge, and 2x 48 port 10/100/1000 ports.
Taken a huge slice of NFR budget but now been asked to pay NFR price - 73% off list for the standard, advanced, other software license. Cisco are saying i only get 73% discount of Global Price list. Surely this is not sensible, how can we justify spending 73% of $170K - are there any schemes where we can get software and licenses for our labs at much cheaper pricing.
All other vendors i deal with provide software NFR kits at a very low price - Cisco even do it for Unified Comms through Cisco Market place for $275 dollars. Does any one know how i can switch these on, or does any one know if Cisco will provide a more attractive scheme.
