We were running an older version of code on our Nexus 7000 (4.2) and upgraded to 5.2(4). Prior to the upgrade we were using SNMP to gather statistical information about how a specific VDC and it's associated interfaces were performing.
After the upgrade repsonses to the SNMP polling stopped working.
The devices use SNMP v2 for polling. I have checked routing from the devices doing the polling and the source interface on the 7K is accessible (pingable). I have checked the configuration and the SNMP community string is correct.
Effectively with the exception of the upgrade nothing was changed.
Is there additional configuration required on a Nexus 7k running 5.2(4) to allow SNMP v2 polling to occur?
Thanks! - RMS
