I haven't been able bringing up links between N7k and and the new N5K (5548UP)  due to errors with UDLD.

Someone else facing same problem ?

regards

Edmund

Hi

Try to configure UDLD normal mode as it has less false-positive results and please check cables between N7k and N5k.

HTH,

Alex

Hi Alex

Reseating the Transceivers and Changing the cables didn't help.

After a reboot of the N5K UDLD works as expected (aggessive at N7K, normal at N5K).

Looks a little bite strange as nothing showed up in the N5K logs.

You are probably running into bug-id CSCtz00790. (see below)

I had the same issue with UDLD no echo reply over SFP+ cables. The bug is Fixed-In 5.1(3)N2(1a)
