I have a Nexus 5010 switch. I use it to test 10Gb NIC's. I need to use jumbo frames to properly test the NIC's.
I have tried the following configuration:
Nexus5010(config)# policy-map type network-qos jumbo Nexus5010(config-pmap-nq)# class type network-qos class-default Nexus5010(config-pmap-c-nq)# mtu 9216 Nexus5010(config-pmap-c-nq)# exit Nexus5010(config-pmap-nq)# exit Nexus5010(config)# system qos Nexus5010(config-sys-qos)# service-policy type network-qos jumbo
Nexus5010(config)# system jumbomtu 9216
However, when I display an interface the MTU still shows an MTU of 1500.
