Upgrade two FEX 2248 Dual-Connected to two 5596

Hi,

We are testing Nexus products before implementing them in our DataCenter.

We are using two FEX 2248 Dual-Connected to two 5596.

Actually, when we upgrade one 5596 5.0(3)N2.1 to 5.0(3)N2.2 using the "install all" command, both 2248 are upgraded then rebooted automatically.

Is there a way to upgrade only one 2248 at a time ?  We would like avoid to loose redundancy while we upgrade each 5596.

Thanks.

They are done one at a time, rolling one after another. There is no way to force one to upgrade and another one not. You could see if you can do an ISSU by checking the following:

show install all impack kickstart bootflash: system bootflash:

show spanning-tree issu-impact

show lacp issu-impact
