2924XL reboots when accessed via console

I and some coworkers have been stung by 2924XL switches rebooting when connecting via ther console port.

The switch is operating normally. We connect via the console port for whatever reason and more often than not the switch will reboot. This is present on multiple switches.

Anyone experience this.

what IOS version are you running?

Aren't you using hardware flow control on your terminal?
