About Reverse Path Forwarding..

Hi all,

My client has a Catalyst 4500 and IOS version is 12.1(13)EW.

My client is wanting the functions which is RPF(Reverse Path Forwarding) to block Spoofing Attack.

But, There is only command for IP CEF,There are not interface commands for Reverse Path Forwarding.

How can I enable the RPF Function ?

Hi,

Try this command

ip verify unicast reverse-path in golbal mode after turn on cef switching.
