Hi
I want to redistribute the connected interfaces in eigrp .The router has 2 gigabit,2 fast ethernet and 8 serial interfaces.How can I redistribute this interfaces that have different bandwidth??

Hi,
There are 2 options:
- configure network statements under the EIGRP process that include the IP addresses configured on these interfaces
- use 'redistributed connected' to include these networks in EIGRP. Ensure that you configure a metric value when doing so or the networks will not be included.

Hi,
In the case of connected routes, the specific of the metric values is not required. Even if you do specify a 'default-metric' it will be ignored and the metric values will be copied over from the actual interface parameters i.e. the actual bandwidth and delay values for the interfaces will be used in calculating the metrics.
