I have port security set up on a cat 4000. when I do a show port-security interface fa0/1 under this the port status show Err-Disabled. what is causing this? I do see 1 violation but how can I get rid of this and bring it back to SecureUp

Can you try doing a shutdown and no shutdown under interface fastethernet0/1?
