1 ISDN E1 monitoring two serial links

Hi,

I need my Ibackup SDN line to monitor two Serial links (which are terminated on the same routers on both ends), in which the ISDN link will kick up if either of the Serial link is down.

I did found the example on the Cisco website, but the two serial links were terminated on different routers, so the configuration provided did not really work. The router did not allow me to configure the same router remote-name on two different dialer interfaces.

Is there any example that I can refer to which relates to my scenario?

Thanks for the help. But it doesn't help, cos it doesn't match my requirement.

Do we have ppp multilink configured between these two links? Basically want to know whether the two serial links have different ip addresses or have one ip address that is assigned to the multilink bundle.

If they have different addresses then can have the dialer watch to watch these individual directly connected networks.

say, serial0 is 10.1.1.0 & serial 10.1.2.0...they will appear as directly connected networks but when they go down the dialer watch will initiate an isdn call....I guess from the routing presepective this will become complex.

Now if s0 or s1 goes down it will be removed from the routing table to initiate an isdn call. The show run on one end should be useful.
