10008 FEC capabilities

Hi.

Is the Cisco 10008 compatible with FEC or GigabitEthernet channel?

Are there any reason for this incompatibility?

Hi

As per the supporting doc 8-Port Fast Ethernet Half-Height line card installed in Cisco.

Hi.

In this link says that the FEC and dot1q is not supported:

"It does not support Inter-Switch Link (ISL) encapsulation (the card does support 802.1Q VLAN encapsulation), or Fast EtherChannel"

But the Gigabit Card (ESR-HH-1GE) is compatible with 802.1Q but seems to be incompatible with portchannel configuration.
