Hi,
Can anyone tell me if i use a 3750 using 1000Base-sx SFPs connected to another manufacturers fiber switch that only runs at 100MB , will this work.
I can't seem to find out if the 1000Base-sx sfp's run below 1000MB.
Thanks
Mark

Your worries are just. The 1000BaseSX SFP only offers 1Gb speed. You cannot connect it to another switch that runs at 100Mb portspeed.

Hello,
perhaps you can use a converter to do this.

Hi Mark,
The 1000Base-SX SFPs are fixed speed media, so they will not operate at 100MB.
There are 100MB SFPs that are compatible with the 3750 such as the GLC-GE-100FX
