i have 2 6509 and from each one link with fiber optice is goint to a site to 3550.

switch 1 has IP 15.0.60.251 and at 3550 its 252

switch 2 has IP 15.0.61.251 and at 3550 its 252

i am getting the following message every minute,anybody can explain it.

14:24:56: IP-EIGRP: Neighbor 15.0.60.251 not on common subnet for Vlan181 (15.0.61.251 255.255.255.0)

EIGRP generates the following "not on common subnet" error message when it receives an EIGRP hello packet sourced from an IP address on a subnet that is not configured on its receiving interface. This won't effect the normal operation of EIGRP, its just a information message thrown by router. Pls. refer the below URL for more details on the same.
