1600 DHCP-server?

Hi!

How do I make this router become a DHCP-server? It seems that I need an IOS upgrade, right?

The 1600 can be configured as IOS DHCP server. You need at least a 12.0.x"T" code. The "T" is important because this gives you the DHCP server functionality. Here is a link that explains how DHCP on a router works also a sample config.
