Please help me! I have a 1600 series router, don't ask why, but I changed the config-register to 0x3922 and hit reload. Big mistake!
All that I can now see is X across my terminal session. I have tried changing the console baud rate to 115200 but the problem persists! Can anyone please tell me how to resurect the box? The router has know config so I cannot telnet onto it.
Darren.

Try console baud rate of 2400

Prashanth, thank you so very much! I'm slightly confused why setting the baud rate to 2400 worked though. I thought that by using a config-register to 0x3922, I would be setting the console port on the router to work at 115200?
Thanks for your help.

The 1600 only supports console speeds up to 9600 baud.
