1700

I have a 1700 series router with a internal csu/dsu 56k, when I do a show service module I see oos/oof incrementing. I looked on cisco web site and I could not find any explanation of what a oos/oof means, I appreciate it if someone can share some light on this.

Thanks in advance

Dennis

Re: 1700

"Out Of Service" (OOS) or "Out Of Frame" (OOF) are alarm conditions which comes from the network. It usually means there is a circuit problem, or a problem at the remote. The easiest thing to do first is to check the remote, and then contact the telco if the problem persists.
