1721 router will not clear

I am trying to reconfigure a 1721 router, but we are unable to clear the old configuration data and it will not let us reconfigure...any suggestions?

Did you already try the command "write erase" or the newer "erase nvram:" command?

Also note, you have to reboot the router after performing one of the above commands.

What kind of error message or symptom do you get? In any case, make sure your config register is set to 0x2102.
