1760 to 1760 Direct WIC 1DSU T1 Connections

I have two 1760 routers each with a 1DSU T1 WIC card. I want to connect each T1 WIC so as to simulate a serial connection before I put the devices in production. Can anyone tell me the pin out for a RJ48c (if this is what I need) and the commands to setup the serial interface? Is it as simple as plugging an RJ48c between the two WICs and adding the correct config? I have tried making a RJ48c but the first router receives a CD light but the second does not.

I think you can have a T1 back-to-back connection with the following wiring schema using an RJ-45 connector, and then configure it with the appropriate channel-group command to simulate the serial connection.
