2600 NVRAM issue

I have a Cisco 2610 router that I just upgraded to 64/16 memory, aim card and vwic. When I configure the router and save the startup config and reboot it takes me back to setup with no configuration.

What is the problem?

What is the configuration register setting ?

Give a show version and ensure the value is 0x2102

To make it 0x2102 do the following,

config t

config-register 0x2102

reload

It is set at 2102.
